Yeah, I know, I have not posted any real pictures from July – and here we are in 9 weeks later in October! Well August was a little interesting to say the least…

Statistics, that would be the best way of summarizing the recent trip to the States starting in California and finishing in Washington…

As promised, a bunch of other shots from my second trip to the Highlands…

This first shot was vry close to the roadside and nearly a missed opportunity. I had spied something a couple of days earlier when I passed over the bridge but did not want to stop. By accident I came across it again, and this time the weather was more appropriate, so I stopped.

The second shot is probably my “trademark” mountain shot, taken on the Isle of Skye:

The third shot was en-route to John O’Groats and I just happened across the farmer ploughing the field ready for sowing. He had his own parade of gulls behind him, feading off the insects that he no doubt excavated as he went about his job

This fourth shot could have been taken at a number of places in the Highlands, but was in fact taken at Rannoch moor
